Spring Training Baseball
Each spring, Major League Baseball invades the Phoenix Valley for spring training. The city of Peoria plays host to two teams, the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners. Vistancia residents are within a 45-minute drive of numerous professional sports. The Arizona Cardinals (football) play at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, conveniently located adjacent to the Arizona Coyotes’ (hockey) home base at Gila River Arena.
